Heating Monitor
Global warming and the current energy shortage in Europe underscore the urgent need to save energy. Taking action, I've adopted the tado° system to efficiently control my home heating. By actively monitoring my energy consumption and heating time, I believe I am taking the crucial first step towards a more sustainable and responsible energy usage.
In the figure below, I present a comparison of this winter's heating consumption with that of the previous year. I'm delighted to share that I have successfully reduced both heating time and energy consumption by half compared to last year—a remarkable achievement.
However, this accomplishment does come with consequences. As shown in the second figure, the average temperature in my apartment has noticeably dropped, despite the outside temperature being fairly similar during both winters.
