About me

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a dedicated problem solver and data scientist. I am curious about new ideas and techniques, consistently seeking opportunities to integrate methods from diverse fields. Collaborating with small teams and engaging in international collaborations with individuals from various backgrounds stimulates my work. In contrast, I am not fond of monotonous tasks. Consequently, I strive to automate recurrent responsibilities, both in my professional and personal life. This commitment to streamlining processes allows me to focus on more challenging and impactful endeavors.

In my current role as an R&D Consultant at Savantic AB, I work on a broad range of projects — from leading a software team building layout automation tools, to developing computer vision systems for industrial quality assurance, to designing IoT sensor systems deployed in the field. I have led projects end-to-end: from requirements engineering and customer communication through to deployment with CI/CD pipelines. My background in theoretical astroparticle physics gives me a strong foundation in statistical modeling, algorithm development, and working with complex data, which I now apply to practical engineering challenges.

I enjoy thinking in abstract and generalizable structures. Before joining Savantic, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholm University, where I published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, presented at international conferences, and co-supervised Master and PhD students.

Beyond professional pursuits, I have actively engaged in various extracurricular activities. As a board member of the FJ Sailing association with about one hundred members, I have gained valuable experience in team management, organization, and event coordination.
